Peer Gynt (mountainroad)

The Peer Gynt Road is a 60-kilometre-long tourist mountain road, named for the folkloric character Peer Gynt. It is a toll road. It runs in the east of Norway in Oppland county through Jotunheimen, along the villages Skeikampen, Fagerhøy, Gålå, Fefor and Dalseter. The road is only open in the summer, mostly from the 1st of June, and is closed when the snow starts.

Hundorp

Hundorp is a village in Gudbrandsdal, Norway. The administrative centre of Sør-Fron, Oppland, Hundorp was also the centre of the petty kingdom of Gudbrandsdal and as such important in religion and politics. Dale-Gudbrands gard, the farm once populated by the ancient ruler Dale-Gudbrand, is the so-called millennial location of Oppland.

Vinstra Station

Vinstra Station is a railway station located at the village of Vinstra in Nord-Fron, Norway. The station is located on Dovrebanen and served express trains to Oslo and Trondheim. The station was opened in 1896 when Dovrebanen was extended from Tretten to Otta.
