Gandsfjord

Gandsfjord is a fjord in Rogaland, Norway. Gandsfjord is an arm of Boknafjorden which is adjacent to the cities Stavanger and Sandnes. The entire west side of Gandsfjord is highly developed. The east side of the fjord has many mountains and peaks. In the outer parts of the fjord there are several islands.

Kvadrat (shopping centre)

Vatneleiren

Vatneleiren is a Norwegian military base close to Sandnes in Rogaland. It was constructed by the German army during World War II, and has been used by the Norwegian army since 1945. After the cold war ended the number of soldiers stationed there gradually decreased, and the base is now mainly used by the Norwegian Home Guard. The United Nations Logistics Officers Centre maintains a training center in Vatneleiren, offering a logistics course.

Statoil

Statoil ASA, trading as Statoil and formerly known as StatoilHydro, is a Norwegian oil and gas company, formed by the 2007 merger of Statoil with the oil and gas division of Norsk Hydro. Joint Warfare Centre

The Joint Warfare Centre (JWC) is a NATO establishment headquartered in Stavanger, Norway. It was established at Jåttå on 23 October 2003. The purpose of this was to have a command with responsibility for training and exercise of the NATO headquarters. The old Joint Headquarters North (JHQ NORTH) was abolished and command transferred to the Allied Command Transformation (ACT) in Norfolk, Virginia, USA
