Ytre Oppedal
Ytre Oppedal is a village and ferry terminal in Gulen municipality, Sogn og Fjordane. It lies in Oppedalsvika on the south of Sognefjorden, east of Risnefjorden. The buildings and village lie on both sides of the Oppedalselva, which flows directly to the ferry port. From Ytre Oppedal, European route E39 crosses Sognefjorden via the Lavik-Oppedal ferry route. From the ferry terminal, Fv8 runs to the neighboring village of Indre Oppedal and then east along Sognefjorden.

It is located about 12 kilometres southwest of the municipal center of Dale, and about 8 kilometres southwest of the village of Flekke. The area is owned by the Espedal family. Espedal is featured in the 2007 documentary film True Norwegian Black Metal which focused on some aspects of the life of black metal performer Kristian Espedal.
