Toke (lake)

Toke is a lake in Drangedal municipality in Telemark, Norway, consisting of Upper and Lower Toke, which is connected via "Straumen" - "the stream". At the north end of Upper Toke is the town center Prestestranda. In the south, Lower Toke reaches into Bamble and into Kragerø, where its outlet is in Lundereidelva at the Dalfoss hydroelectric plant. The lake, with its inflow, constitutes the majority of the Kragerø watershed.

Skotfoss

Skotfoss is a village in Skien municipality, Norway. It is located near the outlet of the lake Norsjø. From 1837 Skotfoss was administratively a part of Solum municipality. Solum became a part of Skien municipality on 1 January 1964. The village have a population of 1,800 people. The sports team Skotfoss TIF was founded in 1893-1894. The club is currently in the 2010 Norwegian Third Division. The Norwegian footballer Frode Johnsen has played for the team, and Johnsen grew up in the village.

Åfoss

Åfoss is a village in Skien municipality, Norway. It is located near the outlet of the lake Norsjø. From 1837 Åfoss was administratively a part of Solum municipality. Solum became a part of Skien municipality on 1 January 1964.

Telemark Canal

The Telemark Canal connects Skien to Dalen in southern Norway by linking up several long lakes using a series of 18 locks. It originally consisted of two canals: The Norsjø-Skien Canal, with locks in Skien and Løveid was built in the period 1854–1861, and is the oldest of the two canals.
