Ibestad Tunnel is an undersea tunnel in the municipality of Ibestad in Troms county, Norway. The tunnel connects the islands of Rolla and Andørja. The western end of the tunnel begins in the village of Hamnvik on Rolla. Then the tunnel goes under the Bygda strait and connects to the village of Sørvika on the island of Andørja. The 3,398-metre long tunnel reaches a maximum depth of 112 metres below sea level.

Astafjorden is a fjord (more accurately, a strait) in Troms county, Norway. It flows through the municipalities of Salangen, Gratangen, Ibestad, and Skånland. The 30-kilometre long fjord flows from the Salangen fjord in the east to the Vågsfjorden in the west. The 3.5-kilometre wide fjord separates the islands of Andørja and Rolla from the mainland. Gratangen (fjord)
Gratangen is a fjord in the municipality of Gratangen in Troms county, Norway. The 23-kilometre long fjord is an arm off of the main Astafjorden. The municipality of Gratangen surrounds the fjord and is named after the fjord. The fjord is about 1 to 2 kilometres (to mi) wide, except for a very narrow 350-metre wide point in the middle of the fjord where the village of Årstein is located. At that point, the Årstein Bridge on Norwegian County Road 825 crosses the fjord.
