Reinøya

Reinøya is an island in the municipality of Karlsøy in Troms county, Norway. The 147-square-kilometre lies directly east of the large island of Ringvassøya, and the small island of Karlsøya lies to the north of the island. The Ullsfjorden lies along the eastern coast of the island. The southern part of the island was part of the municipality of Tromsø until 1 January 2008 when it was transferred to the municipality of Karlsøy.

Karlsøy Church

Karlsøy Church is a historic parish church in the municipality of Karlsøy in Troms county, Norway. It is located on the island of Karlsøya. The church is part of the Karlsøy parish in the Tromsø arch-deanery in the Diocese of Nord-Hålogaland. The white wooden church was built in 1854 and it seats about 570 people. The church is no longer in regular use, since it is on a remote, now-sparsely populated island. The church holds special services occasionally including one summer service each year.

Karlsøya (Troms)

Karlsøya is an island in the municipality of Karlsøy in Troms county, Norway. The 7.91-square-kilometre island of Karlsøya lies directly south of Vannøya and northeast of Reinøya, along the western side of the Ullsfjorden. The one village area on the island is known as Karlsøy and in 2001, it had a population of 70. The island was the centre of Karlsøy for many hundreds of years (hence the name of the municipality). The island is still the location of the historic Karlsøy Church.

Sengskroken Church

Sengskroken Church is a parish church in the municipality of Karlsøy in Troms county, Norway. It is located on the western coast of the island of Vanna (also known as Vannøya). The church is part of the Karlsøy parish in the Tromsø arch-deanery in the Diocese of Nord-Hålogaland. The white wooden chapel was built in 1962 and it seats about 225 people. The chapel was consecrated on 2 September 1962 by the Bishop Monrad Norderval. In 2009, the chapel was upgraded to "church" status.
