Elgsnes Chapel

Elgsnes Chapel is a parish church in the municipality of Harstad in Troms county, Norway. It is located in the village of Elgsnes. The church is part of the Trondenes parish in the Trondenes deanery in the Diocese of Nord-Hålogaland. The chapel is sometimes known as Hans Egedes minne, referring to the famous missionary to Greenland from this part of Harstad in the 1600s. The wooden chapel was built in 1985 and it seats about 100 people.

Kvæfjord Church

Kvæfjord Church is a parish church in the municipality of Kvæfjord in Troms county, Norway. It is located in the village of Borkenes. The church is part of the Kvæfjord parish in the Trondenes deanery in the Diocese of Nord-Hålogaland. The white wooden church was built in 1867 and it seats about 550 people. It was consecrated on 30 July 1867. The architect was Jacob Wilhelm Nordan.

Andfjorden

Andfjorden is a fjord on the border of Nordland and Troms counties in Norway. It primarily flows between the large islands of Andøya and Senja. The smaller islands of Bjarkøya and Grytøya are located in the fjord. The main crossing is via the Andenes–Gryllefjord Ferry between Andøy and Torsken municipalities. The fjord is about 60 kilometres long, has a maximum width of 30 kilometres, and has a maximum depth of 517 metres .

Kvæøya

Kvæøya is an island in the municipality of Kvæfjord in Troms county, Norway. It is located in the Kvæfjorden, an arm of the Gullesfjorden. The island sits about 1.5 kilometres southwest of the village of Borkenes. In 2010, the Kvæøy Bridge was completed, connecting the village of Hundstad on the island to a point just west of the village of Straumen on the main island of Hinnøya. The island is considered as very favorable to farming, with large farms located on southern and western sides.
