Ny-Hellesund

Ny-Hellesund is an outport in Søgne municipality in Vest-Agder county, Norway, consisting of three main islands with good harbors and approach conditions. Islands states: Monsøya, Helgøya and Kapelløya. The place has 10 to 15 residents, and therefore no village. In summer there is a lively summer guests in houses, cottages and boathouses. There is considerable boat traffic through the main channel, Hellesundet (Helle Strait).

Vågsbygd

Vågsbygd is the largest borough of Kristiansand in Norway with approx. 22 000 inhabitants. Until 1965, Vågsbygd was a part of Oddernes municipality. The district extends south and west of the city center of Kristiansand. From Møvig in Vågsbygd are good views of the to Fredriksholm Fortress and on to Flekkerøy, which is often not considered as parts of Vågsbygd. On Kroodden in Vågsbygd is Kristiansand Cannon Museum, an authentic fortress from World War II.
