Håland

Håland was a former municipality in Rogaland county, Norway. Håland is part of the traditional Norwegian district of Jæren. The clerical district of Håland had included churches located in Sola, Tananger, Tjora and Madla. The parish of Håland (Haaland) was established as a municipality on January 1, 1838. Håland municipality existed until 1930, when it was split to form the two new municipalities of Madla and Sola. Madla is now a borough of the city of Stavanger.

Vibberodden Lighthouse

Vibberodden Lighthouse is a harbour lighthouse located in Eigersund, Norway. It was established in 1855, and automated in 1977. The lighthouse operates in coordinaton with Eigerøy Lighthouse, and guides the entrance to the harbour of Egersund.

Stoplesteinan

Stoplesteinan (also known as Stoplesteinane) is a stone circle in the town of Egersund, Rogaland in Norway. The local people often refer to it as a Stonehenge in miniature, although the only thing the two stone rings have in common is that they both are made of stone positioned in a circular manner. The monument has a diameter of about 21 meters (69 feet) and consists of 16 raised stones. Some of the stones are up to 1.2 meters (4 feet) tall.
