Killa Abdullah District
Killa Abdullah or Qilla Abdullah or Abdullah Qilla (Pashto: قلعہ عبد الله‎) is a district in the north west of Balochistan province of Pakistan. Over 99% of the people of the area are Muslims. The population of Qilla Abdullah District was estimated to be over 200,000 in 2005, the vast majority being Pakhtuns and Baloch. Killa Abdullah was separated from Pishin District and made a new district in June 1993. The total area is 3,293 square kilometres.

Pishin District
Pishin was a part of Quetta Pishin district. In 1975 it was separated from Quetta for administrative reasons. The name Pishin is a modernized form of ‘Pushang’, which is how the city was designated in (mainly pre-modern) Persian sources (Arabic sources using 'Fushang'). Myth attributes the origin of the Persian designation to a son of the mythical Emperor Afrasiab. Fushing was the spelling used in the records of the Afghan government.
