The Smallan town serves as the capital of Sinjawi Tehsil - an administrative subdivision of the district. It is located about 32 km from Loralai, and 160 miles from Quetta. Duki
Duki is a town of Loralai District in the Balochistan province of Pakistan. It is located at 30°9'0N 68°34'0E with an altitude of 1092 metres (3585 feet). Revenue record reveals that Duki is the only Sub-division in entire Zhob Division;that is settled area. Duki also happens to be the hottest place in entire administrative Division. Tribal configuration is such that two main tribes i.e. Tarin and Nasar and one small tribe Harifal is settled there.

The 1997 Harnai earthquake occurred on February 27, 1997 at 21:08 UTC near Harnai, Pakistan. It was an Mw 7.0 earthquake and was felt throughout much of central Balochistan. The earthquake was caused by the collision between the Indian Plate and the Eurasian Plate.
