Zulfiqarabad, is a proposed new city in Thatta District, Sindh, Pakistan. The President of Pakistan, Asif Ali Zardari has directed the Sindh government to identify a million acres (4,000 km²) of land near the coast in Thatta district for the development of the proposed new city, in the memory of Prime Minister Zulfikar Ali Bhutto. Jafarabad District

Jafarabad or Jaffarabad or Jaffar khan jamali district lies in the South-East of the Pakistani province of Balochistan. Jafarabad’s headquarters are at Dera Allah Yar. Formerly known as the Jhatpat subdivision, the region was part of the Jacobabad District until 1970 and part of the Sibi District until 1975. Thereafter, it became its own district. Jaffarabad District is sub-divided into four tehsils. In the end of 15th century Jaffarabad was under of Lasharis.
