Turangzai

Turangzai is one of the eight villages of Hashtnagar area in Charsadda District of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. It is located at a distance of 32 km from Peshawar and lies to east of it at 34°12'53N 71°44'46E bordering Umarzai, Utmanzai and Tarnab on either sides. It has a population of about 30,000 people. Personalities like Haji Sahib Turangzai and Alama Shams ul Haq Afghani were born in the village in 20th century. Village is home to a Higher Secondary School for boys and High School for girls.

River Jindi

The River Jindi, also known as Kot and Manzari Baba, begins in the hills of Malakand Agency, in the northern district of Charsadda, in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. During the early months of each year, the River Jindi has a very limited water supply, but the summer months bring with them much needed rain to water the area.

Rajjar

Rajjar is a town and union council in Charsadda District of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa. It is located at 34°10'13N 71°45'18E and has an altitude of 285 metres (938 feet). It is also the home to famous Pathan Leader, a Social Reformer and founder of the "SURKHPOOSH" Movement "Khan Abdul Ghaffar Khan". He had three sons namely Abdul Wali Khan a renowned politician, Ghani Khan a famous Pushtu poet and Ali Khan a dedicated educationist.

Hashtnagar

Hashtnagar is one of the two parts of Charsadda District in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. The Original name of Hashtnagar was "Ashtanagaram" (अष्टनगरम्), "Ashta" means Eight in Sanskrit and "Nagaram" meaning "Town". This area of Charsadda was for a long time known as Hashtnagar, the reformed name for the Persian word hasht (ھشت) meaning eight, and the Sanskrit root word "nagara" (नगर) meaning town, thus meaning "Eight Towns", referring to the eight towns situated in this region.
