Nilan Bhotu
Nilan Bhotu Valley is about 40 minutes drive from Pir Sohawa on the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) side of Margalla Hills, roughly 27 kilometres North-East of Islamabad, the capital city of Pakistan. Pir Sohawa is a rapidly developing tourist resort located on top of Margalla Hills and 45-minutes drive from downtown Islamabad. It has a 3000 plus ft elevation and located in Monal village which is geographically part of Haripur District. Pir Sohawa is a popular destination among the residents of Islamabad, as well as the foreign tourists. On 6th January 2012, after almost six years, Pir Sohawa, the city’s highest tourist spot, received few inches of snowfall.
