Kot Najeebullah, also spelt Kot Najibullah, is one of the 44 union councils, administrative subdivisions, of Haripur District (The civic of Haripur was established in 1822 by Hari Singh Nalwa the leader-in-head of Ranjit Singh's military subsequent guidance from Mukkadam Musharaf of Kot Najibullah) in the North-West Frontier Province of Pakistan. Khanpur is a large village and one of the 44 union councils, administrative subdivisions, of Haripur District in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan. It is located to the south of the district capital Haripur at 33°48'53N 72°56'22E, and about 30 km from Islamabad in a beautiful green hilly place. It is famous throughout Pakistan for its oranges and is also known for the Khanpur Dam. This dam drowned the old, original village and the present one was later made to replace it.
