Lund Khwar

Lund Khwar, also Lundkhwar | Urdu: لوندخوڑ and pronounced "/Lu:/+/nd/, /Kh/+/va'/+/r:/" is a historical village and union council of Takht Bhai Tehsil in Mardan District of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. It is located at 34°23'22 N 71°58'51 E, with an altitude of 371 metres (1220 feet). The name "Lund Khwar" literally means "the ever-flowing stream or brook". Origins of the founding of Lund Khwar are shrouded in mystery. Archaeological and historical evidence clue towards the Gandharan era.

Sawal Dher

Sawal Dher is an historic village in Mardan District of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan, that contains the remains of an ancient city. The village is located 10 kilometers southwest of Katlang-Jamal Ghari, most of the relics of this site are now in Museum. This site is situated at a distance of 4 kilometers in the southwest of Jamal Garhi. Most of the sculptures of this monastery are preserved in Peshawar and Lahore Museums. It is 19 km away from the district capital Mardan.

Malakand Pass

The Malakand Pass is a mountain pass in Malakand District, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. The pass road begins at Dargai. The road across the pass is in good condition, but is always crowded with a continuous stream of trucks. From a viewpoint about one kilometre before the top of the pass, one can see the Swat Canal in the valley below. It was built by the British to channel water from the Swat River through a tunnel under the Malakand Pass to the plains around Mardan.

Charguli

Chargulli is a town and union council in Mardan District of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa. It has one Basic Health Unit, Primary, Middle & High School for Girls & Boys and 3 private schools. A small canal which is linked with big canal of Swat to Swabi and used for irrigation. 90% of the area is under irrigation. Sugercane, tobacco & wheat are the most commonly grown crops in this area. It is located at 34°19'0N 72°14'0E and has an altitude of 342 metres (1125 feet).
