Karambar Pass
Karambar pass (el. 14,250 ft. ) is a high mountain pass in Pakistan. It connects Yarkhun River valley in upper Chitral District to the Karambar river valley in Ishkoman tehsil of Ghizer district in Hunza Valley. Sometimes it is misspelled as Karomber or Kromber pass. The pass is one mile to the west of Karambar lake and 2 miles to the south of Dupsuk peak (5748m) that is the meeting point of Pakistan, Afghanistan and Pakistan Kashmir.

Darkot Pass
Darkot pass (el. 15,430 ft. , open May through October) is a high mountain pass that connects Baroghil Valley in Chitral and Rawat valley of Ghizer District in Gilgit, Pakistan. It is also known under name Darkut. The pass is about 10 miles to the east of Koyo Zom (Zum) peak (6872m), the highest peak in Ghizer district. The border between Chitral and Northern Areas runs through the pass over Darkot Glacier.

Karambar Lake (also known as Qurumbar Lake) is a high altitude lake located between Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Gilgit–Baltistan in Pakistan. It is the 31st highest lake in the world and 2nd highest in Pakistan at a height of 14,121 feet and one of the highest biologically active lakes on earth.

Broghol
Broghol, also spelled Broghil, Boroghil and several other ways, (el. 3798 m./12,460 ft. ) is a high mountain pass that crosses the Hindu Kush and connects the Wakhan Corridor of Afghanistan with Chitral in Pakistan. Broghol is a relatively low pass. It was closed for about three months each winter because of snow, but for much of the rest of the year it was passable even for cart traffic.

Chikaar
Chikaar (el. 3,659 mt. , open May through October) is a high plain and gateway to Darkot Pass The border between Chitral District of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Ghizer District of Gilgit-Baltistan. Its a small village of around 200 families. Landscape around the village offers superb scenery of clouds and sky piercing peaks. In the last decade it has got significant importance due to the relatively easy route that it offers towards Darkot Pass.
