Banian (Battagram)

Banian (َUrdu & Pashto بانیاں) is a town, and one of twenty union councils in Battagram District in the Khyber Pukhtunkhwa of Pakistan. The place was named by Bania (caste) of Gujjars, while they formerly ruled the Gurjara Pratihara Kingdom for centuries. It is located at 34°36'30N 73°3'15E and has an altitude of 1287 metres (4225 feet). Union Council Banian is situated in the Tikri or Tikrai valley of Battagram district. Most inhabitants of UC Banian are Swati Pakhtuns by race.

Kuza Banda

Kuza Banda is a town, and one of twenty union councils in Battagram District in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan. It is located at 34°38'5N 73°2'30E and has an altitude of 1425 metres (4678 feet). It is linked with the union council town of Battagram, and also to Oghi tehsil of Mansehra District, by Oghi road, which has been connected with the traditional silk route (or shahrah-e-Resham) since ancient times.

Tikri, Pakistan

Tikri is a town and a valley of Battagram The place was named after Tikri Gujjars, while they formerly ruled the Gurjara Pratihara Kingdom for centuries. It is located in Batagram Tehsil, Batagram District in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. It is located at 34°37'20N 73°1'10E and lies to the south of the district capital Batagram. Tikri is a well known beautiful valley of the Batagram district of KPK province. It is approx. 15 kilometers far from the district headquarters.

Trand

Trand is a town, and one of twenty union councils of Battagram District in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan. It is located at 34°37'60N 72°58'60E and has an altitude of 1303 metres (4278 feet). Its location is on the western border of Battagram, extending from Landi Kass to Garhi Nawab Syed. Kala Dhaka (known locally as Tore Ghar) lies at its Eastern-West side. The majority of the population consists of the highly respected, politically dominant Peer Imami Sayyeds.
