Attock Fort

Attock fort was built at Attock Khurd during the reign of Akbar the Great from 1581 to 1583 under the supervision of Khawaja Shamsuddin Khawafi to protect the passage of the Indus. Attock is a fort and small town in the Punjab Punjab, on the left or east bank of the Indus, 942 miles from the sea, and close below the place where it receives the water of the Kabul River, and first becomes navigable.

Haro River

Haro is the name of a river that flows through parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Punjab its valley in Abbottabad District in the North West Frontier Province of northern Pakistan, identified with the Rigvedic Arjikiya. Famous Khanpur Dam has been built across this river at Khanpur in the Haripur District.

Daurdad

Daūrdād is a village in Golra Union Council, Attock Tehsil, Attock District in the Punjab Province of Pakistan. It is located some 23 kilometres northeast of Attock. Daurdad is an historic village with a population of roughly six thousand, all of whom are Muslim; there were also a few Hindu families before 1947, who subsequently left the village during partition. Daurdad is an agricultural area. Nala Ghaneer flows on the south side of the village, crossing the Kawah Garh mountain.
