PIA Flight 688

Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) Flight 688 (PK688, PIA688) was scheduled to operate from Multan to Lahore and Islamabad at 12:05 pm on 10 July 2006. It crashed into a field after bursting into flames a few minutes after takeoff from Multan International Airport. All 41 passengers and four crewmembers on board were killed.

Mausoleum of Shah Ali Akbar

The Mausoleum of Shah Ali Akbar is a mausoleum in Suraj Miani Multan, in Punjab province, Pakistan. Shah Ali Akbar is a descendant of Shah Shams Sabzwari and the grandson of Hazrat Shah Shams. It is a mini version of Mausoleum of Shah Rukne Alam. It is octagonal in shape.

Chah Nizam Walla

Chah Nizam Wala, is a small suburb located in Bosan, Multan District, Pakistan. Its founder was Malik Nizam Thaheem. The suburub's main ethnic group is Thaheem, a Muslim group of Arabic origin which is believed to have come to the Multan area in the 12th century. Chah Nizam Walla is in the middle of two roads; its link road is connected to Nawabpur Road and Gillani Road both are linked to Northern Bye Pass Multan and further are linked to MDA Road and Boson Road Multan.

Government High School for Boys, Basti Nau

The Government High School for Boys, is a secondary school in Basti Nau, Union Council Salheh Mahey, Multan District, Punjab province, Pakistan. The school was established in 1979, and is located in a rural area of the union Council. The school is linked by Nawab Pur Road Multan and Boson Road Multan with link Roads. This is the only school for boys up to Secondary Education for a population of more than 25,000 in the area.

Muhammad Bin Qasim International Airport is an airport situated 10 km away from the city centre of Multan in Punjab, Pakistan. It is not as large as the other airports in Pakistan, as it operates to cater mainly to the population of Multan, Vehari, Khanewal, Muzaffargarh, Rajanpur, Sahiwal, and Muhammad Bin Qasim International Airport traces its origins to the British Empire, when the Royal Air Force used the open space to fly in and out of the Multan region during 1919.
