Nandana

Nandana or Nandna was a fort built at strategic location on a hilly range on the eastern flanks of the Salt Range in Punjab Pakistan. Its ruins, including those of a town and a temple, are present. It was ruled by the Hindu Shahi kings until, in the early 11th century, Mahmud of Ghazni expelled them from Nandana. Al-Biruni carried out his measurements of the radius of the Earth here. Anandapala, the son of Jayapala of the Hindu Shahi dynasty, had erected the Shiva temple in Nandana.

Bunhar River

River Bunhar or Nala Bunhar starts from Saral Chakwal District and then enters Jhelum District and falls in River Jhelum near Darapur. Near Tilla Jogian its width increases up to 3 kilometers. Many waterfalls from Tilla Jogian also fall in Bunhar. Near Pind Sawika and Wagh villages, this river takes the form of a desert.

Nara is a village and union council of Jhelum District in the Punjab Province of Pakistan. It is part of Jhelum Tehsil, and is located at 32°48'0N 73°24'0E with an altitude of 236 metres (777 feet).

Chak Shadi

Chak Shadi is a village and union council of Jhelum District in the Punjab Province of Pakistan. It is located near the town of Pinanwal and is a part of Pind Dadan Khan Tehsil, and is located at 32°39'40N 73°15'20E with an altitude of 206 metres (679 feet). Almost the entire population is Muslim, and belong to the Jalap tribe.
