Attock
Attock (formerly Campbellpur) is a city located in the northern border of the Punjab province of Pakistan and the headquarters of Attock District. The name Abasia came from its forefather Hazrat Abbas bin Ali Radyallahu Anho, Abbas the Son of Ali RA. Ali RA was married to Umme Banin RA and it is believed that their son Abbas is where the Awan Tribe started from. The village consists of a single tribe known as Qazi.

PAF Base Minhas
Minhas Airbase or Kamra Airbase is a PAF Airbase located at Kamra, Attock District, Punjab, Pakistan. It was named in the honour of Pilot Officer Rashid Minhas, who was awarded the Nishan-e-Haider for valor in the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971. On 10 December 2007 a school bus carrying children during the morning rush was attacked by a suicide bomber, injuring seven.
