Narang, or Narang Mandi, is a town located in the Muridke Tehsil of Shaikhupur District, Punjab, Pakistan. It is a centre of many life facilities for nearby villages. Narang is renowned for its good quality rice, which is known throughout Pakistan. Basic life facilities like health, education are present here. But though poor infrastructure of broken roads and limited Railways service hampers town development still it is a vibrant town of Kalar area.

Nangal Sahdan

Nangal Sahdan is a well-populated village in the Sheikhupura District of the Punjab in Pakistan. Its population is probably over 20,000. It has five government schools, nine private schools, and 19 mosques. It is near to Muridke and mostly dependent on it. People are fond of education and many boys have completed their Masters. Location of the vary village is so simple. There is a higher secondary school in the start of the village. A strange zig-zag market of small shops.

Amritsar Tahsil

Amritsar Tahsil was an administrative subdivision of the Punjab province of British India. The tahsil was located at {{#invoke:Coordinates|coord}}{{#coordinates:31|40|N|74|30|E||| |primary |name= }}, and had an area of 545 square miles . It was bounded on the east by the Beas River, which divided it from the State of Kapurthala. The area west of the high bank had a fertile belt of loam, irrigated by wells, which is succeeded by a belt of sandy country.
