Muftian

Muftian is a village situated in Tehsil Dina Jhelum District, Punjab, Pakistan. Muftian is located close to the passing Grand Trunk Road, and around the historic Rohtas Road, which is the long used route to the famous Rohtas Fort. Muftian is a farming village and it borders Dina and is historically well known for the shrine of Hadrat Kwaja Maqbool. It has been visited over many years by people from Punjab and also Kashmir.

Dalyala

Dalyala (Dhalyala) is a village found in Azad Kashmir in the Khari Sharif area of Pakistan it is composed mostly of Sohlan Rajputs. The Sohlan are a Rajput tribe connected with the Narma. They are said to be of Panwar Rajput descent which is a sub-branch of the Paramara Rajputs. The village name is derived from the dhall a type of shield used in medieval warfare. The population of this village is approximately 900.

Jhelum District

Jhelum District is in the Punjab province of Pakistan. According to the 1998 census, the district had a population of 936,957, of which 31.48% were urban. Jhelum is known for providing a large number of soldiers to the British and later to the Pakistan armed forces due to which it is also known as city of soldiers or land of martyrs and warriors. The district of Jhelum stretches from the river Jhelum almost to the Indus. Salt is quarried at the Mayo mine in the Salt Range.

Alexandria Bucephalous

Alexandria Bucephalous, or Alexandria Bucephalus or Alexandria Bucephala or Bucephala or Bucephalia, was a city founded by Alexander the Great in memory of his beloved horse Bucephalus. Founded in May 326 BC, the town was located on the Hydaspes, east of the Indus River. Bucephalus had died after the Battle of the Hydaspes in 326 BC. The garrison was settled with Greek and Iranian veterans plus natives.
