Jhimpir Wind Power Plant
The Jhimpir Wind Power Plant is the first Wind Power Plant in Pakistan. The wind farm is being developed in Jhimpir, 144 km from Karachi by Zorlu Energy Pakistan the local subsidiary of a Turkish company. The total cost of project is $136 million. On 15 October 2008 Zorlu Energy reported to have completed five wind turbines in Jhimpir, each capable of producing 1.2 megawatts of electricity.

Keenjhar Lake
Keenjhar Lake commonly called as Kalri Lake is situated in Thatta District, Sindh, Pakistan. It is 122 km away from Karachi and 18 km away from Thatta town. It is the second largest fresh water lake in Pakistan. It is an important source that provides drinking water to Thatta District and Karachi city. Keenjhar Lake has been declared a ramsar site and a wildlife sanctuary.

Hadero Lake is located in Thatta District, Sindh, Hudero is important brackish water wetland of Sindh, where variety of waterfowl prefer to pass their time. Jungshahi
Jungshahi (also spelled as Jang Shahi) is a town of Thatta District in the Sindh province of Pakistan. It lies to the east of Karachi at 24°51'26N 67°46'21E and is a Union Council of Thatta tehsil. In 1949 Major General Muhammed Iftikhar Khan, who was due to become the first native commander of the Pakistan army after the retirement of Sir Douglas Gracey, died in an air-crash near the city.
