Mohenjo-daro

Mohenjo-daro, is an archeological site in the province of Sindh, Pakistan. Built around 2600 BCE, it was one of the largest settlements of the ancient Indus Valley Civilization, and one of the world's earliest major urban settlements, contemporaneous with the civilizations of ancient Egypt, Mesopotamia, and Crete. Mohenjo-daro was abandoned in the 19th century BCE, and was not rediscovered until 1922.

Dokri

Dokri is a town in Larkana District, Sindh province of Pakistan and is the capital town of the Dokri Taluka. The town is located at 27° 22' 29" N 68° 05' 50" E and has an elevation of 39 metres. Mohenjodaro is situated 7 km away in East-South of the Dokri town. The town has been the scene of several leftist and progressive movements in the past. There are girls and boys primary and secondary schools and colleges in the town.

Nasirabad District

Nasirabad is a district in the centre-west of Balochistan, Pakistan. Nasirabad's headquarters are at Dera Murad Jamali. Its original name was Temple Dera, named after Captain H. M. Temple, a career British civil servant, who served as the Political Agent for Sibi from 1891 to 1892. Among the local population it is still known as 'Tipul', a corruption of the word 'temple'. The district was notified in 1974. For three years, from July 1987 to December 1990, it was known as Tamboo district.
