Fortuna Dam

The Fortuna Dam is a dam in western Panama. It is the single largest energy source in Panama, providing 30% of the country's electricity. The Canadian public utility Hydro-Québec was an initial investor in the project, which was completed in 1994.

Boquete, Chiriquí

Boquete is a small town on the Caldera River, in the green mountain highlands of Panama, in western-most Chiriquí Province, about 60 km. from the border with Costa Rica.
