Datu Blah T. Sinsuat is a municipality in the province of Maguindanao, Philippines. Formerly a part of the town of Upi, Datu Blah T. Sinsuat became another municipality after a plebiscite on September 16, 2006 and pursuant to the Muslim Mindanao Act No. 198 of the ARMM. On October 28, it became a new municipality of the newly created Shariff Kabunsuan province. The town was part of the province of Shariff Kabunsuan from October 2006 until its nullification by the Supreme Court in July 2008.

Awang Airport is an airport serving the general area of Cotabato City, located in the province of Maguindanao in the Philippines. Battle of Maguindanao

The Battle of Maguindanao or Cotabato and Maguindanao Campaign was one of the final battles of the Philippines Campaign of World War II, when Filipino forces of the 6th, 10th, 101st, 102nd, 104th and 106th Infantry Division of the Philippine Commonwealth Army and 10th Infantry Regiment of the Philippine Constabulary was liberated the province of Cotabato and Maguindanao in January to September 1945.
