Magellan's Cross

Magellan's Cross is a Christian cross planted by Portuguese, and Spanish explorers as ordered by Ferdinand Magellan upon arriving in Cebu in the Philippines on (depending on source) April 14 or 21, 1521. This cross is housed in a chapel next to the Basilica Minore del Santo Niño on Magallanes Street (Magallanes being the Spanish name of Magellan), just in front of the city center of Cebu City.

Malacañang sa Sugbo (English: Malacañang of Cebu, Tagalog: Malakanyang sa Cebu, is the official residence of the President of the Philippines in the Visayas region. It is located near the Port of Cebu City along the Mactan Channel. It is situated near Fort San Pedro and within walking distance from the other attractions of the city like the Basilica Minore del Santo Niño, Magellan's Cross, and the Cebu City Hall.

Cebu City Sports Complex

Cebu City Sports Complex is a major arena located in Cebu City, Philippines. The complex was built by the city to accommodate large events of various kinds. It is owned and managed by the city government. A number of major events have taken place at the Complex, including large concerts, sports events, and governmental activities. The Sinulog foundation, responsible for the organization of the Sinulog Festival, is taking office in the complex and the sinulog contest is usually held there.
