Fernando Air Base

Fernando Air Base (FAB) was originally constructed by the Japanese Imperial Army over an area of a wide sugar cane plantation before the Second World War. It is 1,220 feet (375 m) above sea level and is situated on a plateau overlooking Taal Volcano with an area of 288 hectares (712 acres) of land, about 45 nautical miles (83 km) SSE of Manila. Fernando Air Base is named after Lt. Col. Basilio Fernando (one of the pioneers of the Philippine aviation).

Punta National High School - Main (PNHS) is a public school in Calamba City, Laguna, Philippines. PNHS is situated at barangay Punta. It has an annex situated at barangay Lawa. The University of the Philippines Los Baños College of Forestry and Natural Resources (also referred to as CFNR) is one of the 11 degree-granting units of the University of the Philippines Los Baños (UPLB). It started as the Forest School under the UP College of Agriculture in 1910, making it the oldest forestry school in the Philippines. It is one of the five founding units of UPLB upon its establishment in 1972.
