Sacred Heart Parish Kamuning

The Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish - Kamuning is a Catholic parish in the Kamuning District of Quezon City in the Philippines. It was established on October 3, 1941. The parish has been in the pastoral care and administration of the Society of the Divine Word since even before its founding. Kamuning was a government housing project of then Philippine Commonwealth President Manuel Luis Quezon. Kamuning was known then as Barrio Obrero II.

Santo Niño de Tondo Parish

Sto. Niño de Tondo Parochial Church is one of the most visited churches in the Philippines. It is located in Tondo, Manila, Philippines. The feast of Sto. Niño of Tondo is celebrated every third week of January. Many people come to participate in the fluvial procession, because back then the terrain of Tondo was consisted of waterways and tributaries which were connected to Manila Bay,a possible reason why the current church was made up of stone.

Cubao Cathedral

For the church of the same name, see Manila Cathedral Cubao Cathedral, formally known as the Immaculate Conception Cathedral, is a Roman Catholic church located in Quezon City, Metro Manila, the Philippines. It is the cathedral of the Roman Catholic Bishop of Cubao. It was built in 1950 by the Society of the Divine Word, belonging to them until 1990 when the Archdiocese of Manila took over its administration. In 2003, it became the cathedral when the Diocese of Cubao was erected.

Laguna de Bay

Laguna de Bay is the largest lake in the Philippines located east of Metro Manila between the provinces of Laguna to the south and Rizal to the north. The freshwater lake has a surface area of about 911 km, with an average depth of about 2.8 metres and an elevation of about 1 metre above sea level. The lake is shaped like a stylized 'W', with two peninsulas jutting out from the northern shore. Between these peninsulas, the middle lobe fills the large volcanic Laguna Caldera.
