Salangbato, Famy, Laguna

Salangbato is a barangay in Famy, Philippines. Salangbato is one of twenty barangays, the smallest unit of governance with the Philippines. It is a toehold of land, southwest of Luzon island in the Laguna Province and is near the Laguna de Bay. It has an altitude of 334 feet . The English translation from Tagalog is "Salang Rock" or "Rock of Salang. " It was named after nomadic seafarers called Salang, an ancient Eurasian ethnicity. The city is also often spelled as "Salang Bato".

Pangil River

The Pangil River (Tagalog: Ilog ng Pangil), also known as the Bambang Hari River, is a river system that runs through Pangil, Laguna in the Philippines. It is one of 21 River tributaries of Laguna de Bay and is regularly monitored by the Laguna Lake Development Authority(LLDA) through one of its 15 river monitoring stations. The Pangil River sub-basin has a drainage area of 51.14 square kilometers.

Our Lady of the Abandoned Parish

Our Lady of the Abandoned, also known as Nuestra Señora de los Desamparados, Marikina City, is a Roman Catholic church and the home of an image of the Virgin Mary venerated locally, which has received Papal recognition. There is also another parish in Manila.

National Shrine of The Divine Mercy, Philippines

The National Shrine of The Divine Mercy in Marilao, Bulacan, is a church dedicated to the Divine Mercy in the Philippines. It was elevated to the status of a National Shrine by Archbishop Orlando Quevedo of the Catholic Bishops Conference of the Philippines. The first Eucharist was celebrated at this site on February 2, 1992, during the Feast of the presentation of our Lady. At the back of the church is the model of Calvary with life-sized Station of the Cross.
