New Bataan is a first class municipality at the Compostela Valley province of the Philippines. The municipality was founded on June 18, 1968 through Republic Act No. 4756. It has a total land area of 688.6 km (55,315 has. ) and situated north and west of Davao Oriental province; south of Municipality of Compostela and west of Municipality of Maragusan. Caraga

Caraga is an administrative region of the Philippines, on the northeastern portion of the island of Mindanao, also called Region XIII. The Caraga Region was created through Republic Act No. 7901 on February 23, 1995. The region is composed of five provinces: Agusan del Norte, Agusan del Sur, Surigao del Norte, Surigao del Sur and Dinagat Islands; six cities: Bayugan, Butuan, Cabadbaran, Surigao, Tandag, Bislig; 67 municipalities and 1,311 barangays.
