Japanese minelayer Yaeyama

Japanese minelayer Yaeyama was a small minelayer of the Imperial Japanese Navy, which was in service during the Second Sino-Japanese War and World War II. She was named after the Yaeyama Islands in the Ryukyu Islands chain. She was the first Japanese warship built with an all-welded hull.

Japanese minelayer Sarushima

Japanese minelayer Sarushima was a small Natsushima-class minelayer of the Imperial Japanese Navy, which was in service during World War II. She was named after Sarushima Island, a small island in Tokyo Bay, offshore Yokosuka, Kanagawa. She was designed as an auxiliary minelayer and escort vessel.

Ilin Island

Ilin Island is a small island in the Philippines. Measuring 47 square kilometres, and located south of Mindoro, the island is home to the Ilin Island Cloudrunner, an endangered species of cloud rat.

USS LST-738

USS LST-738 was an LST-542-class tank landing ship built for the United States Navy during World War II. LST-738 was laid down on 20 February 1944 at Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania by the Dravo Corporation of Neville Island; launched on 1 April 1944; sponsored by Mrs. John S. Mason; and commissioned on 9 May 1944 with Lieutenant John T. Barnett, USNR, in command.

Japanese destroyer Kiyoshimo

Japanese destroyer Kiyoshimo was a Yūgumo-class destroyer of the Imperial Japanese Navy. Battle of Leyte Gulf: Battle of Sibuyan Sea: Assigned to 1st Diversion Attack Force. During an air attack received one direct hit and five near misses. Assisted Battleship Musashi and rescued survivors after the crew of the Musashi abandoned ship. Repaired November 8–12 at Singapore.
