Jasaan, Misamis Oriental

Jasaan is a town in the Province of Misamis Oriental in Northern Mindanao, Philippines. It is approximately 28 kilometers eastward from the capital city of Cagayan de Oro. The municipality is composed of the coastal "barangays" of Aplaya, Solana, Luz Banzon (Kiog-ang), Kimaya, Lower Jasaan (Ubos), Bobuntugan, Jampason and San Antonio, and the inner "barangays" of Upper Jasaan (Ibabaw), Corrales, San Isidro, Natubo, Danao, San Nicolas (Kilumba) and I.S. Northern Mindanao

Northern Mindanao (Region X) is a region of the Philippines, composed of five provinces and two cities classified as highly-urbanized, all occupying the north-central part of Mindanao island, and the island-province of Camiguin. The regional center is Cagayan de Oro City. Lanao del Norte was transferred to Northern Mindanao from Region XII (then called Central Mindanao) by virtue of Executive Order No. 36.
