Dipolog

The City of Dipolog is a third class city and the capital of the province of Zamboanga del Norte on the southern Philippine island of Mindanao. Geographically, the city is surrounded by rolling hills to the southeast and the Sulu Sea to the north. Dipolog is known for its wild orchids and its sardine industry which stems from the rich fishing area off its shores.

Dapitan

The City of Dapitan is a 6th class city in the province of Zamboanga del Norte, Philippines. According to the 2010 census, it has a population of 77,441 inhabitants. It is historically significant as being the place where the national hero, Jose Rizal was exiled by the Spaniards and is known as the "Shrine City in the Philippines. " The city also boasts of Fantasyland, the first amusement park in the Visayas-Mindanao region.

Jose Rizal Memorial State University

The Jose Rizal Memorial State University (JRMSU) is a state university in the Philippines. It is mandated to provide higher professional, technical, special instructions for special purposes and promote research and extension services, advanced studies and progressive leadership in education, agriculture, arts and sciences, engineering and other fields. Its main campus is located in Dapitan. I t became a university in 2010 by virtue of Republic Act 9852.
