Świebodzice

Świebodzice (German: Freiburg in Schlesien) is a town in south-western Poland with 23,126 inhabitants (as of 2006). It is situated in Świdnica County, Lower Silesian Voivodeship (from 1975–1998 it was in the former Wałbrzych Voivodeship). The town is situated close to Książ Castle, which during World War II, together with the underground cave complex, was expanded to create private quarters for Adolf Hitler.

Komorów, Świdnica County

Komorów is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Świdnica, within Świdnica County, Lower Silesian Voivodeship, in south-western Poland. Prior to 1945 it was in Germany. It lies approximately 1 kilometre west of Świdnica, and 54 kilometres south-west of the regional capital Wrocław.

Wałbrzych County

Wałbrzych County is a unit of territorial administration and local government in Lower Silesian Voivodeship, south-western Poland. It was created on January 1, 1999 as a result of the Polish local government reforms passed in 1998. The county covers an area of 514.2 square kilometres . Its administrative seat is the city of Wałbrzych, and it also contains the towns of Boguszów-Gorce, Głuszyca, Szczawno-Zdrój, Jedlina-Zdrój and Mieroszów.

Stary Zdrój

Stary Zdrój was a town of Poland, now part of a town Wałbrzych, 43 m. by rail S.W. from Wrocław, and 3 m. N. from centre of Wałbrzych. It has factories for glass, porcelain, machinery, cotton-spinning, iron-foundries and used to have coal-mines. Population (in 1900) 12,144.
