Krynica Morska
Krynica Morska is a town and coextensive municipality on the Vistula Spit in northern Poland with 1,364 inhabitants (2006). It has been a part of Nowy Dwór Gdański County in Pomeranian Voivodeship since 1999; previously it was in Elbląg Voivodeship (1975-1998). Until 1945 it was in East Prussia (within Germany from 1870), and was known as Kahlberg. The settlement was first mentioned in 1424, and became a summer resort around 1840.

Vistula Spit
The Vistula Spit is an aeolian sand spit, or peninsular stretch of land, which separates Vistula Lagoon from Gdańsk Bay in the Baltic Sea. The border between Poland and Kaliningrad Oblast, an exclave of Russia, bisects it, politically dividing the spit in half between the two countries. The westernmost point of Russia is located on the Vistula Spit. The Polish part contains a number of tourist resorts, incorporated administratively as the town of Krynica Morska.

Przebrno
Przebrno is a village on the Vistula Spit in northern Poland. Since 1991 it is part of the town of Krynica Morska. Previously it was part of Gmina Sztutowo. The village has sandy beaches on the shores of the Bay of Gdańsk on the northern side of the spit, and the Vistula Lagoon on the southern side. During the Second World War it was the location for the German concentration camp Pröbernau, a subcamp of the concentration camp Stutthof.
