Stary Targ (literally "Old Market"; formerly German: Altmark) is a village in Sztum County, Pomeranian Voivodeship, in northern Poland. It is the seat of the gmina (administrative district) called Gmina Stary Targ. It lies approximately 9 kilometres east of Sztum and 61 km south-east of the regional capital Gdańsk. The village has a population of 1,000. The Truce of Altmark between the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth and Sweden was signed in the village in 1629.
