Koszęcin (German Koschentin) is a village in Lubliniec County, Silesian Voivodeship, in southern Poland. It is the seat of the gmina (administrative district) called Gmina Koszęcin. It lies approximately 13 kilometres south-east of Lubliniec and 43 km north of the regional capital Katowice. The village has a population of 4,471. It was previously in Częstochowa Voivodeship (1975–1998).

Transmitter Koszęcin is a facility for mediumwave and FM broadcasting near Koszecin, Poland . It was opened in 1977. It has two guyed masts: the first one is 110 metres high, is grounded, and carries antennas for FM broadcasting (Radio Maryja on 107.0MHz ERP, 5.00kW, polarization V); the second is 138m high. That second mast is insulated from ground and used for mediumwave transmission; broadcasting of the Radio Pahonia in Belarusian is planned on 1080kHz with ERP 350kW using this mast.

Between 1975 and 1998 it was in the former Częstochowa Voivodeship.
