Nowa Pasłęka is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Braniewo, within Braniewo County, Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, in northern Poland, close to the border with the Kaliningrad Oblast of Russia. Battle of Vistula Lagoon
The Battle of Vistula Lagoon (Polish: Bitwa na Zalewie Wiślanym or Zatoka Świeża) was fought on September 15, 1463 between the navy of the Teutonic Order, and the navy of the Prussian Confederation which was allied with the King of Poland, as part of the Thirteen Years' War (1454–66). The battle was the largest naval battle of the war, and one of the two battles which decided the final outcome of the war.
