Isla Canela

Isla Canela is a small island located south of the town of Ayamonte, in Andalusia, Spain. The mouth of the Guadiana River is next to the island, and Portugal (across the river) can be easily seen from Isla Canela. The island is a popular Summer resort thanks to its beaches. Isla Canela is a growing resort with hotels split between the beach and the marina.

Guadiana International Bridge

The Guadiana International Bridge is a bridge that crosses the Guadiana River connecting southern Spain and Portugal. It is not split evenly between the two countries, with a greater share of it situated in Portugal. Completed in 1991, its structural type is a cable-stayed bridge, with a deck of prestressed concrete. The bridge is open to vehicles only. The bridge is 666 metres long with the central span between the towers being 324 metres.

Isla Cristina

Isla Cristina is a city and municipality located in the province of Huelva, Spain. According to the 2009 census, the city has a population of 21,324 inhabitants.
