Queluz National Palace

The Queluz National Palace is a Portuguese 18th-century palace located at Queluz, a freguesia of the modern-day Sintra Municipality, in the Lisbon District. One of the last great Rococo buildings to be designed in Europe, the palace was conceived as a summer retreat for Dom Pedro of Braganza, later to become husband and then king consort to his own niece, Queen Maria I.

Queluz is a civil parish in the municipality in Sintra, in the Portuguese district of Lisbon. The population in the parish of Queluz in 2001 was 27,913, in an area of approximately 2.93 square kilometres (about 9527 inhabitants per square kilometre).

Carnaxide

Carnaxide is a town near Lisbon, located in Oeiras Municipality, Portugal, with a population of 25,911 (2011) inhabitants, a total area of 6,63 km² and a density of 3,220.7 hab/km². It was elevated to town on August 16, 1991. Carnaxide is Portugal's third oldest town, having first appeared in official documentation in the 14th century, its existence goes back as far as 13th century.

Estádio Nacional

The Estádio Nacional (English: National Stadium), also known as Estádio do Jamor, is an out-of-use stadium that used to be the Portuguese national football ground. It is located in the Jamor sports complex, in Oeiras, near Lisbon. It was designed by Jacobetty Rosa and the building works started in 1939, with its inauguration happening on 10 June 1944 by the Council president António Oliveira Salazar.
