Mglin

Mglin is a town and the administrative center of Mglinsky District of Bryansk Oblast, Russia, located on the Sudynka River 167 kilometers west of Bryansk. Population: 7,916; 8,261; 7,704. Mglin was first mentioned in 1389, though the settlement it was built on had existed since the 12th century. Its main landmark is the Assumption Cathedral (1815–30, Neoclassicism). Ethnically, it is mixed town. Ukrainians, Belorussians, and Russians live here.

Nelidovo

Nelidovo is a town and the administrative center of Nelidovsky District of Tver Oblast, Russia, located in the Valdai Hills area on the Mezha River 276 kilometers southwest of Tver. Population: 22,896; 26,154; 30,044. It was founded in 1900 as a settlement near a railway station of the same name on the private Moscow-Vindava-Rybinsk Railway, 334 kilometers from Moscow Riga Station. It was granted town status in 1949.
