Dzemgi Airport
Dzemgi Airport is an air base in Khabarovsk Krai, Russia located 8 kilometres northeast of Komsomolsk-na-Amure. Dzhemgi is Komsomolsk-na-Amure's northeast side airport, handling small airliner traffic. The airport is also the site of a major Sukhoi plant (GAZ 126), built in 1934, where the Sukhoi Su-7 and later models have been built.

Duga-3 (eastern) receiver
Duga-3 ("duga" means "arc") or "Steel Yard" was a Soviet experimental over-the-horizon radar (OTH) system. It was developed for the Soviet ABM early-warning network. The system operated from 1976 to 1989. Two stations of Duga-3 were installed: a western system around Chernobyl and an eastern system in Siberia, near Komsomolsk-na-Amure. The receiver for the eastern Duga-3 was located approximately 43 km NNW of Komsomolsk-na-Amure.
