Dedinovo

Dedinovo is a village in Lukhovitsky District of Moscow Oblast, Russia, located on both sides of the Oka River 12 km (6.5 mi) north of Lukhovitsy and 110 km (65 mi) south-west of Moscow. Population: 3,615. The population is predominantly employed in agriculture. Carrots and potatoes are the main crops grown on the village's fields. There is a convenience store, a movie theater, a post office, and a bookstore. A ferry/bus-station of the Lukhovitsy–Liski road is located here.

Battle of the Vozha River

Battle of the Vozha River (Russian Битва на реке Воже) was a battle fought between the Grand Duchy of Moscow and the Golden Horde on August 11, 1378. Mamai sought to punish the Russians for disobedience. The Russians were led by Prince Dmitri Ivanovich of Moscow who has not yet received his nickname Donskoi. The Tatars were commanded by murza Begich. The two armies met near the river Vozha, a tributary of the Oka.

Vozha River

The Vozha is a river in Ryazan Oblast, Russia. It is a right tributary of the Oka River, and is 103 kilometers long. The town of Rybnoye is situated by the Vozha. In August 1378, Muscovite prince Dmitry Donskoy defeated a Mongol army in the Battle of the Vozha River.
