Ulyanovsk Vostochny(sometimes referred to as Ul'yanovsk or Ulyanovsk Northeast) is an airport in Russia located 28 km northeast of Ulyanovsk. This runway is the third longest public use runway in the world with a length of 5 km (16,405 ft). It is also the widest, with a total width of about 105 m (344 ft). This airport is mainly a cargo airport. It's the base for Polet Airlines and Volga-Dnepr Airlines. Also located here is Aviastar-SP, the manufacturer of the Antonov An-124 and Tupolev Tu-204.
