Bo Waterside
Bo Waterside is a town in Grand Cape Mount County, Liberia on the Mano River. It was a key border crossing between Liberia and Sierra Leone until 1990, when it closed after the launch of Charles Taylor's National Patriotic Front of Liberia invasion from Sierra Leone. The border crossing officially re-opened in June 2007 in an official ceremony involving government officials, humanitarian workers and significant amounts of foreign press coverage.

Lomboko
Lomboko refers to a slave factory; a fortress stockade created by the infamous Spanish slave trader Pedro Blanco. It consisted of several large holding depots or barracoons for slaves brought from the interior, as well as several palatial buildings for Blanco's use, to hold his wives and concubines, and house his employees. Lomboko was scattered across several small islands at the mouth of the Gallinas river, near Sulima on the Gallinas coast.

Tewor District
Tewor District is one of five districts located in Grand Cape Mount County, Liberia. Tewor is located between the Atlantic Ocean, Lake Piso and the Mano River, on the boundary with Sierra Leone. Inhabitants of this district are of the Vai tribe, but they predominantly speak both Vai and Mende. The current Commissioner of Tewor District is Clarence D. Fahnbulleh, and the Paramount Chief is Lamin Bettie.
