Sengkang New Town
Sengkang New Town is a relatively young satellite residential town in the city-state of Singapore. Originally a fishing village, the area is presently undergoing rapid development under the ambition of the Housing and Development Board (HDB) to transform it into a "21st century township". The town now comprises four large neighbourhoods. It is located within Sengkang, one of the 55 urban planning areas outlined by the Urban Redevelopment Authority for long-term land use planning purposes.

Sengkang Sculpture Park is a park located in the Compassvale North Gate neighbourhood in Sengkang New Town in Singapore. The park evolved from Sengkang's "fishing village / marine" theme and design brief which called for the introduction of "Arts in the Park". The 24,000-square metre park is divided into two parts (one bigger and the other smaller). The two parts straddle over Compassvale Street.
