Jasná

Jasná is a small village situated in central Slovakia, in the Low Tatras mountains. It is a part of the municipality Demänovská Dolina. The Jasná Low Tatras ski resort has over twenty four lifts on both sides of the Chopok Mountain – including seven chair lifts and three cable cars. With a summit of 2,024 m and a base at 1,028 m above sea level at Zahradky, the vertical drop is 996 m .

Chopok

Chopok (2,024 m) is the third highest peak of the Low Tatra range (just after the neighboring Ďumbier and Štiavnica mountains) in central Slovakia. The peak offers a panoramatic view of High Tatra, Liptov and the valley of Hron. There is a chalet (called Kamenná chata) located near the summit.

Demänovská Ice Cave

Demänovská Ice Cave or Demänovská ľadová jaskyňa is an ice cave in the Demänovská Valley in Slovakia. It was first mentioned in 1299 and is one of oldest known caves in Europe. After the opening of Demänovská jaskyňa Slobody in 1924, interest in this cave declined. It was reopened to the public after the reconstruction of wooden stairs and electrical lighting in 1952, with 680 m accessible out of the 1,975 m. Currently, the route for visitors is 850 m long and takes about 45 minutes to traverse.

Demänovská Cave of Liberty

Demänovská Cave of Liberty is a karst cave in Low Tatras in Slovakia. Discovered in 1921 and opened to the public in 1924, it is the most visited cave in Slovakia. The public entrance is at an altitude of 870 metres . Of the total length of 8,126 metres, 1,800 metres are open to the public. Cave bear bones were found in a passage now named Bear's Passage . Large domes have been created with the largest being the Great Dome, which is 41m high, with a length of 75m and width of 35m.

Dereše

Dereše (Hungarian: Deres, 2,004 m) is the third highest peak of the Low Tatra range, in central Slovakia. It is located on the way between the highest mountains of the range, Ďumbier and Chopok in the east, and Chabenec in the west. Dereše is a popular destination among alpine skiers despite a high risk of avalanches. The scenic trail on the top of Dereše is surrounded by hundreds of cairns.
